Can we just talk about this for a second?
Sam and Dean were arrested separately. Kept in completely isolated holding cells. At this point, they haven’t seen each other since before they were arrested, and have not discussed any sort of cover story. They have never been in this situation before, or worked a case exactly like this one. Basically, their stories should have been similar, but there should have been small errors. Tiny differences in detail.
Nope. Sam and Dean’s stories are so identical that even the policewoman - who is convinced that Dean is a murderer - doesn’t know what to think.
How’s that for synchronized?
We’ll play hide and seek to turn this around - SN: 07x23
"Your brother is very much alive, courtesy of the Mark. And the only demonized soul inside of Dean is his and his
alone. Wee bit more twisted, a little more mangled beyond
human recognition, but, I can assure you, all his."
I love Jared’s acting here. His voice breaks for a tiny little moment when he says kill my brother - it must be such a hard moment for him. First, after the surveillance video, he had to assume that a demon was desecrating Dean’s dead body, and now he hears that Dean’s not dead, but alive and a demon himself. It’s a lot to take at the same time, but he doesn’t want Crowley to know, and he needs to keep the conversation going, so that he can track it. He does a good job, but that little break in his voice betrays him…
YOU KNOW WHAT
sam could EASILY, in this time, have looked at dean’s track record, realized he was totally gonna come back sooner or later, get like a million dogs for the bunker, and then pull the “i thought you were never ever coming back ever so i panicked” card. think how much happier he would be
